Elisabeth Tomko and Heather Lake

Heather and Beth are sisters who grew up in Central Illinois. Time and travel took them to far flung places of the world and they now find themselves separated due to the pandemic. Heather lives in New Zealand, and Beth in Texas.

Supporting each other through difficult times has always been their way, and sharing encouraging stories to help each other get through the dark times.

In this podcast, they share stories they've found of people who have walked through difficult seasons, and found hope along the way.

Casper Ten Boom was the father of Corrie Ten Boom, author of the book the Hiding Place. His faithful leadership of their family led them through dark places, without losing their faith. Hear part of his deeply moving testimony and what he said, when offered the chance to stay home, rather than be taken away to a Nazi prison.
